Tom is an award-winning filmmaker whose producer-director credits span the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV, including The Dog House, Extraordinary Portraits with Bill Bailey and George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces.

He directed CBBC’s BAFTA-winning My Life: Mumbai Street Strikers, while his film Keep on Keeping On: The 73 Year Old Surfer won Shortie of the Year at the 2024 London Surf Film Festival.

At Make Noise, Tom brings that same eye for compelling stories and cinematic imagery to local businesses — finding the people, personality and craft that make them worth noticing. Not just content to fill a feed. Films that make people care.

Dan brings a background in offshore construction, business ownership and commercial tendering to Make Noise. After graduating from the University of Plymouth in Hydrographic Survey & Ocean Exploration in 2011, he built his career in offshore construction, spending much of that time subcontracting as director of his own company, Bay Subsea Limited. Running a business gave him first-hand experience of balancing client expectations, delivery and day-to-day work.

His experience as a Senior Commercial Tender Engineer combines technical understanding with commercial decision-making. His tender engineering experience includes helping secure survey contracts, often worth millions, for leading energy companies worldwide. Alongside this work, he has been developing agentic AI systems — technology designed to handle multi-step tasks and simplify complex workflows.

At Make Noise, he brings that practical commercial approach to making marketing easier. Alongside Tom’s professional filmmaking, Dan’s focus is building straightforward systems that reduce owners’ workload and make performance easier to understand. Great creative work, less administration, decisions backed by meaningful data.
